Do i own this blog???

Very recently it happened for me to come across ppl who blog regularly. Every now an then i get mails from my friends to read and comment their posts. I do read theirs. When they asked me "Do u have a blog?" my answer is as usual "NO!"

I know you all will wonder why should i lie having this blog since 2008. Even i wonder how come i have this blog. While traversing through blogspot after reading a friend's post shockingly i found this page. The two older posts are the poetries that i wrote in my school days which made me confirm this to be my blog.

"We've everything. Do realise that!" I don't even remember when and how i created this blog and why i gave this caption. But the caption perfectly suits me now! It took more than a year for me to realise the presence of this blog.

Likewise we also initiate so many things in life and leave it abruptly. As time passes we forget it.
Just initiating something in life alone won't work. We've to show progress in what we started.

So Start, Proceed.......... Success will automatically come in your way!

NOTE: Ppl who are forgetful like me, don't worry and think too much. Time also has the strength to remind you those things which you left abruptly like the one that happened to me today.

FEMALE INFANTICIDE

I was the seventh child of my parent,
the seventh female child of my parent.
When i was about to come out,
I felt the pain of my mother in her cry.
Unable to see her crying I never opened my eyes,
And i started to cry.
As soon as she stopped her cry,
I too stopped crying and slept.
Of hearing that i was a girl,
She sat up and wept.
Trying to console my mother,
I gave her a pleasant smile.
Knowing that it was my last smile,
She hugged and kissed.
Her motherhood made her to pray
that i should not be missed.
My father rushed there to send me
back where I was from.
On seeing my father she stopped him
and begged him that it was not fair.
God heard this and was ready
to take me under his care.
Atlast I was sent to him and
she was sent to sorrow.
Let her eighth child be a male
to bring her back from the sorrow.

ஆறா? பெண்ணா?

மழையால் பிறந்து, மலையில் தவழ்ந்து
சமவெளியில் ஓடி, கடலில் கலக்கிறாய்
உன் பயணம் சுகமானது பார்போர்க்கு

இதோ உன் சுமையோபு எனதும்

மேகத்திலிருந்து பிறக்கிறாய்
உன் தாயோ நீ பெண் என்றவுடன்
ஏதேனும் ஒரு மூலையில் உள்ள இரக்கத்தால்
உயிருடன் உன்னை பூமிக்கு கிடத்திவிடுகிறாள்

ஆனால் ஆறறிவு பெற்ற தாயோ ..... பிறந்தது
பெண்ணென அறிந்தவுடன்
உன் தயினளவு இரக்கம் கூட இல்லாது
கொலை செய்யவே தயங்குவதில்லை

தினையளவு பாசத்தால்
ஒருபெண் சிசுவிர்க்கு உயிர் கிடைத்தாலோ
அவள் வளர்வதற்குள்
நீ மலையில் இருந்து இறங்குகையில்
எத்தனை தடைகளை கடக்கிரயோ
அதைவிட பலமான தடைகளை சந்திக்கிறாள் ..

அத்தனை தடைகளையும் ,
அத்தனை துயர்களையும் ,
அவதிப்பட்டு தாண்டி வந்தாலோ
சமவெளியில் குறுகிய பாதையில்
செல்லவேண்டிய நிர்ப்பந்தம் ..

அனைவரும் உபயோகித்துவிட்டு
அசுத்தம் செய்த ஆற்று நீராக அவள் வாழ்க்கை
இறுதியில் துன்பமாகிய கடலில்
சென்று கலந்து
உலக வாழ்க்கையில் உயிருடன் மடிகிறாள்..

நீரோடயகிய உனக்கோ,
துன்பம் பெருகினால் ,கோபம் அதிகரித்தால்
கரைகளை உடைத்து பொருள்களை அழிக்கும்
வல்லமை உள்ளது ..

ஆனால் அவளுக்கோ
தனது துன்பத்தையும் கோவத்தையும்
வெளிப்படுத்த வலிமை உளதோ ???

சிந்தியுங்கள் இந்த மகளிர் தினதிலவது ...

பெண்மையை போற்றுவோம் !!!
